Amelia Fischer

Description
Amelia Fischer is an American voice actor known for her work in English-language dubs of Japanese anime series and films. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, as of at least 2014, she began her performance career on the stage as a member of a classical theatre company in Houston, Texas, before transitioning to voice acting.

Her filmography consists primarily of roles produced by Sentai Filmworks, a major distributor and production company for anime in North America. One of her most prominent roles is Kinuyo Nishi, the commander of the Chi-Ha-Tan Academy tankery team, in the film Girls und Panzer der Film. This character is the English-language counterpart to the original Japanese voice performance by Asami Seto.

Beyond the Girls und Panzer franchise, Fischer's voice work includes several other significant characters across various anime series. She provided the English voice for the powerful Flügel Jibril in both the No Game, No Life television series and its sequel film, No Game, No Life Zero. Her other credits include the role of Shizuku Ninomiya in Beyond the Boundary, Nanami Hyoudou in Magical Warfare, and multiple characters in Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse, such as Mariam Zarner (credited as Valentine) and Tatiana Belskaya. She also appeared in the series Nobunaga The Fool and Outbreak Company.

Fischer's involvement with the long-running Girls und Panzer franchise extended beyond her initial role. In the first part of the subsequent six-part theatrical series, Girls und Panzer das Finale, she voiced the character Piyotan, a member of Ooarai Girls Academy's Anteater Team. This illustrates a pattern of casting within the same franchise for different projects, a common practice in voice acting. For Girls und Panzer das Finale Part 1, the role of Kinuyo Nishi was taken over by another voice actor, Alexis Lee, showcasing a recasting for the later installment.
