Liù Bosisio, born Luigia Bosisio Mauri on 30 January 1936 in Milan, is an Italian actress and voice actress renowned for her extensive contributions to dubbing, particularly in animation. She trained at the Accademia d'Arte Drammatica in her hometown from 1953 to 1955, establishing a foundation in dramatic arts that led to a career as a stage actress with the Luca Ronconi company and as a stand-up comedian. Bosisio also appeared in character roles in films and on television, gaining recognition as Pina, the wife of Paolo Villaggio's character in several installments of the Fantozzi film series.

Her voice acting career is marked by a wide array of roles in Italian dubs of anime and animated series. She is notably the Italian voice of the titular puppy in the anime Hello! Spank, a role she performed in the early 1980s. Another significant anime role was providing the voice of the character Nonnina, the kind grandmother, in the Studio Ghibli film My Neighbor Totoro. Bosisio also lent her voice to the character Hedwig, also known as the Witch of the sea, in the anime series Saban's Adventures of the Little Mermaid.

Beyond these specific credits, Bosisio's dubbing portfolio includes many other prominent roles. She was the first Italian voice of the beloved robot cat Doraemon in the 1982 series. In film, she dubbed characters such as Ellie Mae in Disney's The Rescuers, Mommy Fortuna in The Last Unicorn, and Laverne in The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

A defining aspect of her career was a long-standing collaboration with the animated series The Simpsons. For the first 22 seasons, Bosisio was the primary Italian voice of Marge Simpson, and for the first 21 seasons, she also voiced the characters Patty and Selma Bouvier. This extensive work made her voice iconic to Italian audiences for these beloved characters.
