Description
Spank is a small white dog with distinctive black or brown ears. After his original owner disappeared during a yacht journey, he waited daily at the beach for a return that never happened. This abandonment ended when he encountered Aiko Morimura, a junior high school student grappling with her own profound losses: her father vanished at sea a decade earlier, her mother relocated to Paris for work, and her pet dog Papi died in a car accident.
