Irina von Bentheim is a German actress and voice actor born on August 18, 1962, in Berlin. Her career in the performing arts began in childhood, where she appeared as a child actor in films alongside prominent German entertainers such as Heinz Erhardt and Heinz Rühmann. Before focusing on voice work, she also gained experience as a radio moderator for stations like RIAS and RBB.

In the realm of anime and animation, von Bentheim has provided the German voice for several notable characters. She is the voice of Mai Valentine in the anime series Yu-Gi-Oh!. She also voiced the character Kaoru Rokujouji in the Black Jack OAV series. Another significant role is Svetlana Belikova, the president of the Eastern Slav Republic, in the CGI film Resident Evil: Damnation. Additionally, she lent her voice to the movie Spriggan.

Beyond anime, von Bentheim's career as a dubbing artist is extensive. She is well-known as the long-standing German voice of American actresses Sarah Jessica Parker, notably in the series Sex and the City, and Naomi Watts.
