Hans Teuscher

Hans Teuscher was a German actor and voice actor, born on April 10, 1937, in Dresden, Germany. He passed away on October 31, 2015, in Berlin. His career spanned several decades and included extensive work on stage, in film, and on television, beginning in his childhood. He performed on stages in Leipzig, Berlin, and Dresden.

In addition to his on-screen appearances in productions such as the television series Tatort and the miniseries War and Peace, Teuscher built a substantial career lending his voice to characters in German-dubbed versions of foreign films and series. His voice acting work included providing the German voice for actor David Huddleston in the Lucky Luke TV series.

Relevant to animation, Teuscher contributed to the German dubbing of several anime titles. He voiced the character Breckenridge in the 2001-2004 anime specials Spirit of Wonder. His other voice roles in animation include the 2007 film Der Kleine König Macius - Der Film, the German-dubbed version of the animated series Anne with an E (Anne mit den roten Haaren), and the film Ein Sommer mit Coo. He also performed voice work for audio plays, such as the 1989 LITERA recording of Gevatter Naúm.
