Yoriko Nagata

Yoriko Nagata is a Japanese former voice actress and narrator, active in the anime industry from 2006 until her retirement in 2014. She was born on February 27, 1984, in Osaka Prefecture. A graduate of the Katsuta Voice Actor Academy, Nagata was formerly affiliated with the talent management firm Ken Production during her career.

Nagata is best known for a number of prominent supporting roles in popular anime series of the late 2000s and early 2010s. One of her most recognized performances is as Jun Suzuki, the younger friend of the main characters in the highly successful music-themed anime K-On! and its sequel K-On!!, a role she also reprised for the 2011 feature film K-On! The Movie. She provided the voice for Miharu Mikuni in the series Kiss×sis and for Jaune Clafoutis in the first season of Dog Days. Her filmography also includes the role of Harumi Kimihara in the OVA Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru: Futari no Elder, as well as significant parts such as Koharu Sugiura in the visual novel and game White Album 2, Nao Terauchi in Chu-Bra!!, and Ayumu's classmate Miki in Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko.

Beyond these key roles, Nagata built a extensive body of work featuring a wide variety of characters in numerous television series, original video animations, and films. She appeared in titles such as The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya as Mizuki Sae, Saki as Ayumu Sugino, and Dream Bread as Ikue Nakajima. Her career also encompassed voice work in video games, radio dramas, drama CDs, and Japanese dubs of foreign films and television series like The Chronicles of Narnia and Thor.

Nagata also contributed to the music side of anime, performing character songs for her roles. These include the song Su·i·na·n Destiny for her character Miharu Mikuni in Kiss×sis and several tracks for her K-On! character, Jun Suzuki, such as Junjou Bomber!!. Following her retirement from the entertainment industry in 2014, several of her notable roles were recast for subsequent series and adaptations.
