Daisuke Matsubara is a Japanese voice actor born in Hokkaido, Japan, on October 4, 1984. He is affiliated with the talent management firm Aoni Production and is a graduate of the Amusement Media Academy. Matsubara began his career in the voice acting industry in 2005. His debut year included minor roles in the television anime series Peach Girl and Useless Animals.

Throughout his career, Matsubara has built a substantial portfolio by voicing numerous supporting and secondary characters in a wide range of popular anime franchises. He has been a recurring presence in the long-running series One Piece since 2007, providing voices for various soldiers, townspeople, and named characters like the fish-man Namur. He is also frequently heard in the Dragon Ball franchise, with roles in Dragon Ball Kai, Dragon Ball Super, and related video games, often voicing soldiers and underlings. Other major anime he has contributed to include Saint Seiya Omega, Toradora!, and Kaiji.

He voiced the character Kondō in the television series Medamayaki no Kimi Itsu Tsubusu?. He is credited as Ryūga in Legends of the Dark King: A Fist of the North Star Story. In the series Someday's Dreamers II Sora, he played the role of Jitsu Oohara. He provided the voice for the Boy in the 2007 short film Tori no Uta. His role as Felix Cowley is in the OVA Senjō no Valkyria 3: Ta ga Tame no Jūsō, which is based on the video game.

Beyond anime, a significant portion of Matsubara's work is in video games.
