Choboraunyopomi is a Japanese manga artist and doujin creator, recognized as the original creator behind works including the anime Ai-Mai-Mi Mōsō Catastrophe and Jaku-San-Sei Million Arthur. The creator is a married woman with one child and resides in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan.

The creator began by posting secondary creation four-panel comics for series such as Pretty Cure 5, Touhou Project, and Lucky Star on Niconico Douga. The professional career gained early recognition with a佳作 (Merit Award) in the Yon-Koma Kings Palette category at the Ichijinsha Manga Taisho awards in 2008. The professional name Choboraunyopomi is used for commercial work, while the name Chobonyopo is used for non-commercial activities.

The body of work is primarily in the four-panel comic format. A significant original work is Ai-Mai-Mi, which was serialized in Takeshobo’s Manga Life WIN starting in June 2009 and was adapted into a television anime series in January 2013. Another notable original creation is Fushigi na Somera-chan, which was serialized in Ichijinsha’s Manga Palette Lite from August 2008 to April 2011 and later continued in Manga 4-koma Palette from April 2015 to May 2018; this work was also adapted into an anime. The creator is also known for Jaku-San-Sei Million Arthur, an official four-panel gag manga based on the Kaku-San-Sei Million Arthur game franchise, serialized via Square Enix’s apps starting in 2012, which also received a web anime adaptation.

Additional serialized works include Danshin!! Danshi Shinbunbu for Kadokawa Shoten, Hane Tori Kusuri for Shueisha, a four-panel manga adaptation for Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? for Square Enix, and Tantei Sumeragi Sakura no Kanpai Haiboku for Houbunsha. The creator has also contributed illustration work for various projects, including end card illustrations for the anime series Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?, Is the order a rabbit??, Magical Sempai, and Made in Abyss.

The artistic style is characterized by a distinct blend of cute character designs with surreal and absurdist humor, often described as high-energy or unhinged. This juxtaposition is a signature element across the creator’s comedic works. In a rare instance, the creator made a voice appearance as themself in the first season of the Ai-Mai-Mi anime.
