Raffaele Carpentieri is an Italian voice actor born in Nocera Inferiore, in the province of Salerno, on August 31, 1984. His early artistic pursuits began with theater as a young man, which led to small on-screen roles in Italian television series such as Capri in 2008 and La squadra in 2009, as well as a part in the film La festa. He later trained in dubbing, studying with notable figures like Roberto Pedicini and Renato Cortesi, who was instrumental in guiding him toward a career in voice acting.

Carpentieri has built a extensive career voicing characters in anime, live-action films, and television series for the Italian market. He is recognized for his work in several high-profile anime productions. He is the Italian voice of Taku Morisaki, the protagonist of the Studio Ghibli film Ocean Waves.
