Aya Gōda
Description
Aya Gōda is a Japanese voice actor and radio personality from Hokkaido, born on December 16, 1988. She is a graduate of the Yoyogi Animation School. Her career began in 2009 when she made her voice acting debut as Q-feuille, one of the lead characters in the anime series Kiddy Girl-AND. For this role, she also made her debut as a singer, performing the series' opening theme song and character songs. During this early period, she was affiliated with the talent agency Production Ace.
In the years following her debut, Gōda took on a wide variety of roles. In 2011, she was cast as Salas in Is This a Zombie?, a role she would reprise in its subsequent sequel. That same year, she voiced Saeko Suzae in A Dark Rabbit Has Seven Lives and provided the voice for the protagonist, Taketo Akutagawa, in R-15. Her other roles from this period include Takako Kōki in Haitai Nanafa and Ichihachi in Upotte!!. She also had recurring parts in series such as The World God Only Knows and Heaven's Lost Property.
A notable aspect of her early career was her work on the short-form anime series Recorder and Randsell. She voiced the character Takumi across multiple seasons of the show, including Recorder and Randsell Mi, as well as the character Miura. Her involvement in the Toei Robot Girls project saw her voice Danguard Ace.
Around 2012, Gōda transitioned to working as a freelance voice actor and changed her stage name to Chiharu Kitaoka. She continued her voice acting career under this new name, with credits including roles in series such as The Pet Girl of Sakurasou and The Unlimited: Hyobu Kyosuke. She announced her marriage in March 2016 and the birth of her daughter in April 2017.
