Kazuyoshi Shiibashi
Description
Kazuyoshi Shiibashi is a Japanese male voice actor born on June 6, 1983, in Saitama Prefecture. He made his debut as a voice actor in 2010. His path to the profession began after a chance encounter with the anime Weiß Kreuz during his junior high school years, which inspired him to pursue a career in voice acting. Following his graduation from high school, he enrolled in the Tokyo Announce Academy to receive formal training. Upon completing his studies, he further honed his acting skills by spending approximately two years performing with a theater group called Gekidan Sugoroku before fully entering the voice acting industry.
His debut role was as Shouichirou Yukimura in the television anime series Kaichou wa Maid-sama! in 2010. Following this, he took on a variety of supporting roles in numerous anime series. In 2011, his credits included the role of Toru in Jewelpet Twinkle, Leo and an assistant in Freezing, and Hori and a male student in Wandering Son. He also voiced the character Pedro in the animated film The Princess and the Pilot that same year. In 2012, he appeared in Football Knights in multiple roles including athlete, player, Yutaka Kujou, and photographer, as well as a guest role in The Pet Girl of Sakurasou. His work continued in 2013 with appearances in series such as Kotoura-san, D.C.III ~Da Capo III~, and My Little Monster. He also played the role of Quilt in the anime series Baku Tech! Bakugan and its sequel, Baku Tech! Bakugan Gachi.
Beyond anime, Shiibashi's work has extended to other areas of voice acting. He has provided voices for video games, including the role of Kai Kakimoto in the PSP game Pastel Chime Continue. He has also participated in drama CDs, radio shows, and dubbed overseas films. For a period of his career, he was affiliated with the talent agency Production Baobab.
