Born in Imperia on June 8, 1941, he became a prominent figure in Italian entertainment, known for his versatility across different performance mediums. A significant part of his artistic life was dedicated to the theatre, where he was a key member of the Compagnia del Teatro Stabile di Genova for nearly three decades, collaborating with renowned directors.

In the realm of voice acting, Morosi lent his voice to numerous international stars in live-action films, including Morgan Freeman, Gérard Depardieu, Martin Sheen, and Dennis Hopper. However, his work extended prominently into animation and anime, where he voiced a variety of characters. Among his notable anime roles, he was the Italian voice of the Narrator in the film Harlock: Space Pirate. He also contributed to the Studio Ghibli film The Wind Rises, providing the Italian voice for the character Hattori.
