Akashi Takei is a Japanese actor who was born on September 23, 1997. He is affiliated with the talent agency Gekidan Tōhai. While his primary career is as an on-screen actor, he has also done voice acting work. Takei began his career as a child actor, with his first film roles dating back to 2003. He gained early recognition for his performance in the 2004 film Be with You, where he played the role of Yuji Aio. Throughout the 2000s and into the 2010s, he built an extensive filmography of television dramas and films. His television credits include appearances in series such as The Queen's Classroom special episode in 2006, The Song of the Queen in 2007, and Kamen Rider Decade in 2009.
