Ei Morisako

Ei Morisako is a Japanese actress who began her career as a child performer. She was born in Chiba Prefecture, Japan, on September 11, 1997. At the age of five, she made her acting debut in 2002 with a small role in the television series Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger. She gained wider recognition in 2006 when she was cast as the lead in a live-action television special of the popular anime and manga series Chibi Maruko-chan, a role for which she was selected from over 500 child actors.

While Morisako is primarily known for her extensive work in live-action television dramas and films, her filmography includes notable voice acting roles in animated features. In 2009, she voiced the lead role of Nagiko Kiyohara, also known as Sei Shonagon, in the animated film Mai Mai Miracle. That same year, she provided the voice for the character Koko in the 3D CGI animated film Yona Yona Penguin and also performed a theme song for the movie. These two films represent her most prominent credits in animation voice work.
