Masahiro Itou is a Japanese voice actor and singer affiliated with the Hibiki talent agency. He was born on July 24, 1992, in Fukuroi, Shizuoka Prefecture. He is a graduate of the Nagoya College of Music, where he majored in trumpet performance.

Before his voice acting debut, Itou was active in music. From 2013 to 2016, he was a member of the musical unit Nabakari President. After moving to Tokyo in 2016, he continued his musical activities as an independent musician.

Itou's career as a voice actor began in earnest in 2018 when he was cast as Ren Nanahoshi, the lead vocalist of the band Argonavis, for the multimedia franchise From Argonavis. This role marked his debut and became a defining part of his early career, as he not only voiced the character but also performed as the lead singer for the real-world band, participating in live concerts and music releases. He reprised this role in the 2020 television anime and subsequent films, including Gekijōban Argonavis: Ryūsei no Obligato in 2021 and Gekijō-ban Argonavis Axia in 2023.

In 2021, Itou received the Best New Actor Award at the 15th Seiyu Awards, recognizing his breakthrough performances. That same year, he landed his first lead role in a television anime as Kyouya Hashiba in Remake Our Life!. Also in 2021, he began voicing Zakusa Ishigame in the Cardfight!! Vanguard franchise, appearing in Cardfight!! Vanguard overDress and its sequel, Cardfight!! Vanguard will+Dress.

His other notable anime roles include Reaks in I've Somehow Gotten Stronger When I Improved My Farm-Related Skills in 2022 and his first lead role in a romantic comedy as Kaede Komura in The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses in 2023. Beyond animation, Itou has also lent his voice to various video games, such as Argonavis from BanG Dream! AAside, and has participated in stage plays and reading performances. His skills include playing the trumpet and guitar, and he enjoys watching soccer and movies.
