Chika Horikawa is a Japanese voice actress from Hyogo Prefecture, born on May 15th. Her blood type is A. Throughout her career, she has been affiliated with several different agencies. She began her career under the name Ai Kashima while with Holy Peak. In December 2009, she joined Production Ace, where she performed under her current name. She became a freelancer in July 2013 and later joined the agency Mouvement in May 2025.
Horikawa's debut role was Chizuru Yanase in the 2008 television anime series Ga-Rei-Zero. Her early career also included the role of Belle in the 2009 series Kiddy Girl-AND. The year 2009 also saw her take on the role of Ichiko Ono in the Munto franchise, appearing in both the television series Sora o Miageru Shōjo no Hitomi ni Utsuru Sekai and its related film, The Last War of the Heavenloids and Akutoloids.
The year 2011 was a significant period for her, as she landed multiple prominent roles. She voiced the energetic and unpredictable Misato Tachibana in the acclaimed slice-of-life comedy Nichijō. In the same year, she played Izumi Aomi in the fantasy series Itsuka Tenma no Kuro-Usagi, also known as A Dark Rabbit Has Seven Lives. Her other roles from this period include Kyoko Kasuga in Deadman Wonderland, Chōshi Mei in R-15, and various supporting characters.
Beyond anime, Horikawa's work includes video games, where she reprised her roles of Izumi Aomi in Itsuka Tenma no Kuro-Usagi Portable and Misato Tachibana in Nichijō (Uchūjin).
