Mai Hashimoto is a Japanese actress and voice actress born on January 3, 1984, in Shirakawa, Fukushima, Japan. She began her career in the entertainment industry in 2006, appearing in the film The Rug Cop, and started taking on voice roles in anime the following year. Her early voice work in 2007 included roles in series such as Code-E, Mokke, and Toward the Terra.

Hashimoto is perhaps best known for her long-running role as Rin Kujō, a character she voiced across the entire To Love-Ru franchise. This includes the original To Love-Ru television series and its OVAs, Motto To Love Ru, To Love-Ru Darkness, and To Love-Ru Darkness Second. Another prominent role was as Chinami Ebihara in both Code-E and its sequel Mission-E. Her filmography also includes the role of Yuuna in Baby Princess 3D Paradise 0 [Love], Maochao Tamamii in Busou Shinki, and Crooler in Lego Chima ~Animal Senshi-tachi no Densetsu~. She also voiced the character Nazuna Inuwaka in the Arcana Heart 3 video game.

Throughout her career, Hashimoto has been affiliated with the talent agency Holy Peak before becoming a freelancer at the end of 2012. In addition to voice acting, she has performed theme songs for the anime series Mokke and Mission-E. On April 2, 2018, she announced her marriage to fellow voice actor Wataru Hatano, with whom she had previously worked on several anime projects including Toward the Terra, Soul Eater Not!, and Hell Girl: Two Mirrors.
