Shintaro Nakano is a Japanese voice actor from Osaka Prefecture, born on May 26. He is affiliated with the talent management firm Mausu Promotion.

Nakano's career has been built on a wide variety of supporting and minor roles in anime television series and original video animations. His work is primarily concentrated in the late 2000s and early 2010s. He has voiced numerous incidental characters such as students, clerks, camera operators, and other background figures. Examples of these roles include a basketball club member and a dog in Lovely Complex, a man in Junjō Romantica, a cameraman in Demon King Daimao, and a clerk in Oreimo.

Despite the nature of these smaller parts, Nakano is most readily identified for his extensive work in the 2009 magical girl series Fresh Pretty Cure. In this production, he provided the voices for several of the monster characters that appeared throughout the series' 50-episode run. His most prominent role in the series was Sorewatase, a plant-based monster introduced in the latter half of the story. He also voiced the standard monster-of-the-week, Nakewameke, as well as its variants Nakisakebe and Hohoemina. His contributions to the franchise extended to the 2011 crossover film Precure All-Stars DX3: Mirai ni Todoke! Sekai wo Tsunagu Niji-iro no Hana, where he once again voiced Nakewameke.

His other notable appearances include a small role in the 2015 romantic comedy television series My Love Story!!, where he voiced a customer. In addition to his television work, Nakano has also contributed to original video animations such as Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan Second and Shakugan no Shana S.
