Nana Akiyama
Description
Nana Akiyama is a Japanese actress, singer, and former model who provided voice work for a small number of anime roles, most notably as the lead character in the 2008-2009 television series Corpse Princess. She was born in Tokyo on December 26, 1989.
Akiyama began her career in entertainment as a child model for少女时装杂志, or teenage fashion magazines. She gained initial fame through live-action roles, particularly for her performance as Akira Amami in the popular 2005 tokusatsu drama series Kamen Rider Hibiki and its subsequent film adaptation. Following this breakthrough, she expanded her activities to include gravure modeling and a singing career, releasing multiple singles and an album under the Victor Entertainment label starting in 2006.
Her most prominent voice acting role came in 2008 when she was cast as Makina Hoshimura, the main female protagonist in the anime adaptation of the manga Corpse Princess. She voiced the character in both seasons of the series, titled Corpse Princess: Aka and Corpse Princess: Kuro. This role as a non-voice actor cast in a lead anime role represented a significant, though brief, foray into voice acting. Her only other documented voice acting credit is for the 2018 animated film Mekakucity Actors -in a day's-.
Information about her career does not indicate any recurring collaborations with specific directors or other voice actors. In 2012, she changed her stage name to Eri Akiyama but has not taken on any further notable anime voice roles since Corpse Princess. Her credited works after this point consist primarily of live-action films.
