Mi-Sook Jeong

Description
Mi-Sook Jeong is a prominent South Korean voice actress. She was born on December 25, 1962. Jeong began her professional career in 1984 when she joined the voice acting division of the Korean Broadcasting System in Seoul.

She has provided the Korean voice for a vast number of characters in animated series, primarily for Korean television editions of popular Japanese anime. Some of her most notable roles include Kagome Higurashi in InuYasha, Nami in One Piece, and Cure Black in Futari wa Pretty Cure. She also voiced the character Petty in the long-running children's series Pororo the Little Penguin. Other significant anime roles include Taichi Kamiya in Digimon Adventure, Faye Valentine in Cowboy Bebop, and Misha in Pita-Ten.

In addition to animation, Jeong is well-known for her extensive work dubbing foreign films for Korean broadcasters. She has been the Korean voice for numerous actresses in major Hollywood films, including replacing Emma Watson in the Harry Potter series, Natalie Portman in Leon, and Kirsten Dunst in both Interview with the Vampire and Jumanji. Her work also includes providing the Korean voice for characters in animated films from major studios, such as the title roles in Mulan and Anastasia, Dory in Finding Nemo and Finding Dory, and Mittens in Bolt.

Jeong has also lent her voice to characters in video games, including Rena in Elsword and Reith in Magna Carta: Crimson Stigmata.
