Description
Konomi Maeda is a Japanese voice actress and narrator from Hyogo Prefecture, born on October 15th. She began her career after graduating from the Aoni Juku Osaka school, the 11th class, and was initially affiliated with Aoni Production. During her time as a junior member of Aoni Production, she was part of the idol voice acting unit S-nery alongside fellow voice actresses Houko Kuwashima and Chie Katsuragawa. She has also been affiliated with Ability Produce and is currently a freelancer.
Maeda has built a career with a wide range of roles in anime, video games, and other media since her debut in 1996. Her credits include long-running series like Detective Conan, where she provided voices for characters such as Madoka Mitsui, and the Pokémon anime, where she voiced a character named Moe.

Her career also features recurring collaborations, most notably with fellow voice actress Saori Nishihara. The two became friends after working together on Lucky Star, and after Maeda became a freelancer, she entrusted her casting to Nishihara's agency, SAOLIO. A well-known anecdote from the production of Lucky Star suggests that her lively personality, typical of her Kansai region upbringing, led to her being specifically chosen for the role of the energetic teacher Nanako Kuroi.

She has also performed character songs for her role in Lucky Star.
