Elena Ruiz, also credited as Elena Ruiz de Velasco, is a Spanish voice actor, ADR director, and translator known for her extensive work in European Spanish dubs of anime productions. Her career encompasses a wide range of voice roles across numerous series and films, as well as significant contributions behind the microphone as a dubbing director and script adapter.
Ruiz has lent her voice to a multitude of characters in Spanish-dubbed anime, demonstrating considerable versatility. In the series Azuki-chan, she voiced the character Ken Takayanagi. For the OVA series Can Can Bunny Extra, she performed multiple roles, including Haruna Sakamoto, Kaori Sakurazawa, and Yukie Wakamiya. She is also the voice of Lulu in a new dub of Hana no Ko Lunlun and portrayed Misao Sonozaki in Hōkago Renai Club: Koi no Étude.
Ruiz is particularly well-known for her work within the Pretty Cure franchise. She is the Spanish voice of the fairy Mipple, a central character in Futari wa Pretty Cure and its sequel series, Pretty Cure Max Heart, as well as the associated films Futari wa Pretty Cure: Max Heart and Futari wa Precure Max Heart 2: Yukizora no Tomodachi. In these same Max Heart productions, she also voiced the character Akane Fujita. Her involvement with the franchise extended to Glitter Force Doki Doki, the international adaptation of Doki Doki! Pretty Cure, where she voiced the character Rory in the Spanish dub.
