Asuka Tanii is a Japanese voice actress born on June 19, 1978, in Toyama Prefecture, Japan. She is affiliated with the talent agency Mausu Promotion. She graduated from the voice acting research department at the Tokyo Announce Academy in 1999. In 2000, she entered the training school of Ezaki Productions and made her professional debut in 2001. Her first roles included voicing multiple characters in the anime series Shiawase Sou no Okojo-san.

One of her most prominent roles is Lulun in the Pretty Cure franchise, starting with Futari wa Pretty Cure Max Heart in 2005. Another significant role is Kiri Komori in Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei. She has also provided voices for characters such as Yayoi Shimotsuki in Sgt. Frog, Farin in Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, and Gabu in Dinosaur King.

She is well-known for voicing Pamela Ibis in multiple titles of the Atelier series, beginning with Mana Khemia: Alchemists of Al-Revis. Her other notable video game roles include Carol Anderson in Wild Arms: The Vth Vanguard, Noah in the Galaxy Angel series, and Eleanor in Everybody's Tennis. Her work includes dubbing foreign films and television series into Japanese, as well as performing in drama CDs.
