Maki Izawa is a Japanese voice actress, actress, and narrator born on November 29, 1962, in Tokyo, Japan. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Art at Joshibi University of Art and Design. Her career in the performing arts began with the Tokyo Kandenchi theater troupe before she joined the Theater Company Aoitori in 1985, where she remains active as a stage actress. As a voice actress, she was long affiliated with Office PAC before transferring to Osawa Office in February 2025.

Izawa has built a prolific career characterized by versatility and a distinctive presence, often recognized for her portrayals of maternal, elderly, or authoritative female characters across anime, video games, and dubbed foreign productions.
