Kazumi Evans is a Canadian voice actress born on September 14, 1989. Before beginning her career in voice acting, she trained as a dancer at several institutions, including the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, the Richmond Academy of Dance, and the Goh Ballet in Vancouver. Her early career included an appearance as a contestant on the first season of the CBC reality television series Triple Sensation in 2007, where she was a finalist.
Evans is known for her extensive work in animated series and films. One of her first major and longest-running roles was providing the singing voice for the character Rarity in the fantasy series My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, which aired for nine seasons from 2010 to 2019.
