Cole Brown was an American voice actor known for his work with FUNimation Entertainment, the company behind the English dubs of numerous anime series. His career in voice acting spanned over a decade, contributing to the English-language versions of many popular shows.

Brown provided voices for a wide array of characters across different series. Among his most recognized roles was Marshall D. Teach, also known as Blackbeard, in the long-running series One Piece. He also voiced the Celestial Spirit King in Fairy Tail and Vahriz in The Heroic Legend of Arslan. As a prolific actor, he took on many other parts, including Bifrons in Shakugan no Shana: Season II, additional voices in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and the narrator for Desert Punk and Jormungand.

In addition to these roles, he was the voice of the character known as the Frog-Faced Doctor or Heaven Canceller in the A Certain Magical Index franchise, appearing in Index, Index II, and both seasons of A Certain Scientific Railgun. He also voiced the character Craven in the mecha anime series Strain: Strategic Armored Infantry. His later roles included Lord Redford in Izetta: The Last Witch.

Beyond his voice acting career, Brown also worked as a firefighter and paramedic for nearly 26 years. Colleagues remembered him for his kindness and the warmth he brought to his performances. For his work as the voice of Blackbeard in One Piece, Brown was posthumously nominated for a BTVA Anime Dub Television/OVA Voice Acting Award in 2017 for Best Male Vocal Performance in a Supporting Role, and he was also part of the ensemble nominated for Best Vocal Ensemble that same year. Cole Brown passed away on November 18, 2016, at the age of 60.
