Mie Azuma is a Japanese voice actress and actress born on January 20, 1941, in Tokyo, Japan. She is affiliated with the talent management firm Haikyō. Her career in the entertainment industry began in 1958 when she joined the agency金星Pro and also became part of the 8th intake of NHK's Modern Japanese Music program. In 1965, she moved to her current agency, Haikyō. Azuma's voice is characterized as an alto, and she has special skills in singing nagauta and speaking the Kōshū dialect.
Azuma has an extensive career in anime, particularly prominent from the 1960s through the 1980s. She is known for voicing several specific characters, including Tsune in the anime special Otoko wa Tsurai yo - Torajirō Wasurenagusa.
