He is prominently associated with Funimation and Crunchyroll, having lent his distinctive deep voice to a vast array of characters since the late 1990s.
Sabat's career is most famously defined by his long-standing roles within the Dragon Ball franchise. He is the English voice of several key characters, including the iconic rivals Vegeta and Piccolo, as well as Yamcha, Shenron, and numerous others across the various series and films. His work on the franchise extends beyond voice acting; he has also served as a voice director for series like Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Z Kai, and Dragon Ball Super. Beyond the Dragon Ball universe, Sabat has an extensive and diverse filmography. He voices the stoic swordsman Roronoa Zoro in the Funimation dub of the long-running series One Piece.
