Christopher Sabat is an American voice actor, voice director, and producer widely recognized for his extensive work in English-language dubs of Japanese anime. He is prominently associated with Funimation and Crunchyroll, having lent his distinctive deep voice to a vast array of characters since the late 1990s.

Sabat's career is most famously defined by his long-standing roles within the Dragon Ball franchise. He is the English voice of several key characters, including the iconic rivals Vegeta and Piccolo, as well as Yamcha, Shenron, and numerous others across the various series and films. His work on the franchise extends beyond voice acting; he has also served as a voice director for series like Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Z Kai, and Dragon Ball Super. In the 2019 film Dragon Ball Super: Broly, he reprised his roles as Vegeta and Piccolo. He continued his portrayal of Piccolo, a character who received significant focus and a new power-up, in the 2022 film Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero.

Beyond the Dragon Ball universe, Sabat has an extensive and diverse filmography. He voices the stoic swordsman Roronoa Zoro in the Funimation dub of the long-running series One Piece. He is also known for his portrayal of the powerful and symbolic hero Toshinori Yagi, also known as All Might, in the popular series My Hero Academia. Another notable role is Kazuma Kuwabara in Yu Yu Hakusho, a series for which he also served as an assistant ADR director. In Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, he provided the voice for the strong and flamboyant Alex Louis Armstrong. His repertoire also includes Elfman Strauss in Fairy Tail, Daisuke Jigen in various Lupin the Third specials, Garterbelt in Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt, and Yami Sukehiro in Black Clover.

In addition to his acting, Sabat is highly active behind the scenes. He frequently works as an ADR (Automated Dialogue Replacement) director and line producer for numerous anime dubs produced by Funimation. In 2004, he founded OkraTron 5000, an audio production company specializing in interactive voiceover, music, and sound design, which has provided support for many dubbing projects. His involvement in directing often overlaps with his acting roles, allowing him to shape performances and guide productions.
