Beyond his work in animation, Beretta was a highly versatile voice actor. He provided the French voices for numerous live-action actors, including Rutger Hauer, Ernie Hudson, and Liam Neeson, in addition to his long-standing role as Schwarzenegger. In the realm of video games, he was well-known as the voice of Sam Fisher in the Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell series and as Duke Nukem in Duke Nukem Forever. He also served as a station voice for the French radio network RFM from 2000 to 2008.
