Melanie Tonello is a Canadian actress who has performed extensively in both live-action and voice-over roles for film and television. Born on June 8, 1992, in Newmarket, Ontario, she began her professional career as a child performer, appearing in commercials before transitioning to film and voice acting. Her early on-screen work included small roles in major feature films such as Godsend (2004), Resident Evil: Apocalypse (2004), and The Prize Winner of Defiance, Ohio (2005), where she played Barb Ryan. She also appeared in the family comedy Cheaper by the Dozen 2 (2005) as Becky Murtaugh.

Tonello has built a substantial career as a voice actor in animation, contributing to numerous television series. One of her notable voice roles is Princess Sparkle in the animated series Spider Riders, which aired from 2006 to 2007.
