Denis Laustriat is a French actor, primarily known for his extensive work in dubbing for French-language versions of films and television series. Before becoming a voice actor, he trained in theatre in Strasbourg while also studying political science, later continuing his dramatic arts education in Paris. He initially performed on stage and in films, including a role in Jean-Pierre Mocky's Les Saisons du plaisir, before being encouraged by theatre acquaintances to pursue dubbing.

Laustriat has built a prolific career in dubbing, becoming the regular French voice for actors such as Orlando Bloom, Jason George, and David Anders. Within the realm of animation, he has lent his voice to numerous series and films, particularly during the 1990s and 2000s. Among his notable anime roles are Hokuto and Metal Face in the series B't X and its sequel B't X Neo. He also voiced Victor in the series Tsuyoshi Shikkari Shinasai, known in French as Un Garçon Formidable. His work includes the role of Joe Thax in the series Eagle Riders, which corresponds to the character Joe Saxe in Gatchaman II. Additionally, he performed the voice of Maximilien in Dancougar - Super Beast Machine God.

Throughout his career in voice work, Laustriat has been associated with the SOFI dubbing studio for several productions. His other prominent anime and animation roles include Donatello in an iteration of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Wildwing in Mighty Ducks, Simon in Alvin and the Chipmunks, Ziv Zulander in The Bots Master, and Kubo Utamaro in Shuriken School. He also voiced Spider-Man in Les Nouvelles Aventures de Spider-Man. His contributions extend to video games, where he is known for voicing the character Squall Leonhart in the French versions of the Kingdom Hearts series.
