Riko Fukumoto is a Japanese actress and voice actor who began her career after winning the Grand Prix at the 8th Toho Cinderella Audition in 2016. Born in Osaka Prefecture on November 25, 2000, she is affiliated with the talent agency Toho Entertainment. Her entry into voice acting was closely tied to her work as a singer. Fukumoto performed the opening theme song for the 2018 original netflix anime series Dragon Pilot: Hisone and Masotan, and also joined the cast to voice the character Natsume Misumi, a girl in a sailor uniform who holds a key to the story. This role marked her debut in anime voice work.

In 2022, she took on a significant voice role in the feature film That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: The Movie – Scarlet Bond, where she voiced Towa, a queen with mysterious powers who rules the kingdom of Raja. This role expanded her filmography into a major anime franchise. She also had a voice cameo as Ayuko in the 2020 anime adaptation of Love Me, Love Me Not, a film in which she also starred in a live-action lead role. Her more recent voice work includes the role of Hana in the 2025 television anime Dragonite and The Postman.

Beyond voice acting, Fukumoto is an accomplished on-screen actress. Her notable live-action film roles include lead performances in Love Me, Love Me Not, Even if This Love Disappears From the World Tonight, and A Girl & Her Guard Dog. For her performance in My Love Mix-Up!, she won the award for Best Supporting Actress at both the 110th Television Drama Academy Awards and the 31st TV LIFE Annual Drama Awards in 2022. The following year, she received the Newcomer of the Year award at the 46th Japan Academy Film Prize for her role in Even if This Love Disappears From the World Tonight.
