Byron Close is a Canadian voice actor known for his work in English dubs of anime series, primarily during the late 1990s and 2000s. Hailing from Calgary, Alberta, he was frequently associated with Blue Water Studios, a dubbing division of the larger Ocean Group based in his hometown.

Close is notably recognized for his role as Sai Nanohana, the eccentric father of the protagonist, in both installments of the Jubei-chan franchise. He voiced the character in the first series, Jubei-chan The Ninja Girl - Secret of the Lovely Eyepatch, and reprised the role for the 2004 sequel, Jubei-Chan 2: The Counterattack of Siberia Yagyu. In addition to his work on the Jubei-chan series, his voice credits encompass a range of other anime. He was part of the English cast for several entries in the long-running Gundam franchise, providing voices for Dr. Mikamura in Mobile Fighter G Gundam, Blex Forer in Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, and a Chief Advisor in the film Mobile Suit Gundam 00 the Movie: A Wakening of the Trailblazer.
