Massimo Lodolo is an Italian actor and voice actor born in Rome on 12 November 1959. He began his career as a child performer in commercials directed by his uncle, the filmmaker Sandro Lodolo. During his teenage years, he worked as a radio presenter before transitioning to the stage, where he performed in works by Oscar Wilde and Carlo Goldoni. His on-screen acting credits include the 1992 film Flight of the Innocent.
Lodolo is primarily renowned for his extensive work in dubbing, providing the Italian voices for numerous international stars such as Vincent Cassel, Tim Roth, Andy García, Gary Oldman, and Alfred Molina. He is widely recognised by Italian audiences as the voice of Lucius Malfoy, played by Jason Isaacs, in the Harry Potter film series.
Within the realm of animation and anime, Lodolo has voiced several prominent characters. He is the Italian voice of Optimus Prime in three different Transformers animated series: Transformers: Robots in Disguise (2001), Transformers: Armada, and Transformers: Energon.
