Maddie Blaustein was an American voice actress known for her extensive work in anime dubbing, particularly with 4Kids Entertainment, DuArt Film and Video, and NYAV Post. Her career in voice acting began in the late 1990s and continued until her passing in 2008.
Blaustein is most widely recognized for her long-running role as Meowth in the English-language adaptation of the Pokémon anime. She joined the series providing voices for various characters before taking over the role of Meowth from episode 31 and continued to voice the character through the show's eighth season. Her portrayal extended to numerous Pokémon films released during that era, including Pokémon: The First Movie, Pokémon: The Movie 2000, and Pokémon: Jirachi Wish Maker.
Her voice work in the Kirby: Right Back At Ya! series was prolific, where she voiced multiple characters. These roles included Chef Kawasaki, Waddle Doo, Professor Curio, Tuggle, Gengu, Melman, and Biblio. She also contributed to the 4Kids dub of One Piece as Dr. Kureha. In the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise, she voiced Solomon Muto in the original series and Sartorius in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX.
Beyond these prominent roles, her anime voice acting credits spanned a wide range of series and films. She was heard in Slayers Try as Jillas Jillos Jilles, in Samurai Deeper Kyo as Migeira, and in Cubix as Dr. K.
