Carola Ewert was a German voice actor born on December 6, 1967, in Berlin. Before beginning her career as a voice actor in 1992, she completed training as a child educator. She became known for voicing a wide range of characters in German-dubbed versions of films and television series until she had to step back from her work in 2004 due to health issues. Ewert passed away in August 2014.
While primarily known for her extensive work in dubbing live-action productions, Ewert also contributed her voice to several anime series. A notable example of her anime voice work is the character Frau Tonegawa in the series Rumiko Takahashi Anthology from 2003. Another prominent anime role was providing the first German voice for the character Max in the series Crayon Shin-Chan in 2002. Beyond anime, her voice acting in animated productions included the role of Sam in the series Totally Spies and Lupe in the Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon.
