Rodolfo Vargas is a Mexican voice actor recognized for his extensive work in dubbing for Spanish-language versions of anime, films, and television series. His career in voice acting began in the 1960s. In addition to his artistic pursuits, he holds a degree in Political Science and Public Administration from the National Autonomous University of Mexico.

Vargas is particularly noted for his roles in classic anime series. He provided the voice for Daisuke Umon, the human identity of the protagonist Duke Fleed, in the anime UFO Robo Grendizer. His other prominent anime roles include Bao in the OVA Birth, Masaru Kaneda in Jigoku Sensei Nube, and various characters in the Digimon franchise, such as Henry Wong in Digimon Tamers and Kouichi Kimura in Digimon Frontier. His filmography also features work on series like Dragon Ball Z, where he voiced Mr. Satán in later episodes, and Captain Centella.

Beyond anime, his voice acting portfolio is extensive and includes dubbing for a wide array of live-action films and animated features. He is known for being the original Spanish voice of Han Solo (Harrison Ford) in the first two Star Wars films and for dubbing Tony Montana (Al Pacino) in a later version of Scarface. Other notable film roles include John Smith in Pocahontas and the voice of Trevor Goodchild in the animated series Aeon Flux. His television work also includes voicing Steve Austin in the first seasons of The Six Million Dollar Man. Rodolfo Vargas is now retired from voice dubbing and resides in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico.
