Masaru Hotta is a Japanese voice actor and stage actor born on March 17, 1980, in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. He is affiliated with the theater troupe Super Eccentric Theater. Before pursuing a career in entertainment, Hotta worked at an oil factory but left that job to follow his passion for acting.

Hotta has built a career with a variety of voice roles in anime television series. He is known for voicing Kiethturtle in Medarot Damashii. His other prominent anime roles include Manabu Yukimitsu in Eyeshield 21, multiple characters in Katekyo Hitman Reborn, including Enzio, Ivan, and Leonardo Lippi, Usui in Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds, Guardian Baou in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, Face Hunter A and Hajime Tsukino in Beyblade: Metal Fusion, and Yoshihiko Koga in Whistle. He has also voiced characters in series such as Bikkuriman 2000, Cookin' Idol Ai! Mai! Main!, and Ginyuu Mokushiroku Meine Liebe wieder. His film credits include a role as P-san in the movie The Asylum Session.

In addition to his voice work, Hotta is a stage actor. He was a member of the first and second-generation Seigaku casts for The Prince of Tennis musicals, known as TeniMyu, where he played the role of Mizuno Katsuo. He continued his association with the franchise in later seasons, working as a master of ceremonies for events like the 2012 Undoukai and Dream Live 2013. His other stage credits include performances in various productions such as GO NOW, ROCK MUSICAL PROJECT #002 White*Song, and S×S Produce vol.5 SHUFFLE.
