Matteo Garofalo is an Italian voice actor, born in Avezzano and active in dubbing studios in both Rome and Milan. His career began to gain recognition in the late 2010s, and he is known for providing the Italian voices for a wide range of characters in anime series and films.

Garofalo's passion for voice acting was inspired by the animated programs he watched on Italian television during his childhood. One of his most significant early roles came in 2020 when he was cast as the voice of Jun Misugi, known as Julian Ross in the classic Italian localization, in the 2018 series Captain Tsubasa. Garofalo has spoken about the personal significance of this role, having grown up admiring the character.

He has since built an extensive filmography in the anime industry. He voices Kall-Su in the Netflix series BASTARD!! -Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy- and its sequel Hell's Requiem. He is also the Italian voice of Yuki Shibayama, appearing in multiple installments of the Haikyu!! franchise, including Haikyu!! LAND VS. AIR and Haikyu!! To The Top. Another prominent role is Teruki Hanazawa in the series Mob Psycho 100 and its second season.

His other anime credits include the title role in the Lupin Zero series, Kyoya Tachibana in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, Eunseok in Solo Leveling, and Sota Miyagi in the animated film The First Slam Dunk. Beyond animation, his voice work also includes the live-action film adaptation of Bleach, where he dubbed the character Yasutora Chad Sado, and the role of Roi in the television series La casa di carta - Berlino.
