Renato Mori was an Italian actor and voice actor, born Renato Pietro Mori in Milan on 29 May 1935. He began his career in the 1950s, appearing in television series and on stage, and from the 1970s became known for his roles as inspectors and police commissioners in crime films and television dramas. He died in Rome on 22 August 2014 at the age of seventy-nine.

Mori was highly active as a voice actor and dubbing director. He was a co-founder of Sefit, the largest dubbing company in Italy. He is particularly noted for being the official Italian voice of actors such as Morgan Freeman, Gene Hackman, James Earl Jones, and John Rhys-Davies for many of their most famous roles. His son, Simone Mori, also became an actor and voice actor.

In the realm of anime and animated films for the Italian market, Mori contributed his voice to numerous productions. He is known for his role as Briking in the series Casshan. He voiced both Lord Porkon and Monsieur Gourmont in the 1976 film Nagagutsu o Haita Neko 80 Nichikan Sekai Isshū, known in Italian as Il gatto con gli stivali in giro per il mondo. He also provided the voice for King Morpheus, or Re Morpheus, in the film Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland. Among his many other dubbing roles in animation were appearances in series such as Cowboy Bebop, Great Mazinger, Trigun (for which he also served as dubbing director), and Wolf's Rain.
