Graziella Polesinanti is an Italian actress and voice actor, born in Rome on March 12, 1943. She began her career after graduating from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in 1962 and started working in dubbing in 1978. Over her extensive career, she has provided her voice for hundreds of characters in film, television, and animation.

Polesinanti is particularly well-known for her extensive work in Italian dubs of anime series and films. One of her most recognized roles is the voice of the young boy Bart in the series Fist of the North Star, known in Italian as Ken il guerriero. She also voiced the character Airi in the same series. Another notable role is Zia Noulette in the redubbed version of the anime My Patrasche, titled Il mio amico Patrasche in Italian.

Her repertoire in anime is vast and includes several iconic characters and series. She was the voice of Ran in various adaptations of Lamù, including the original Urusei Yatsura series and its films. She also voiced Kyoko in the film Akira and the ora in Princess Mononoke. For a period, she voiced the title character Doraemon in the early films of the long-running series. Other significant credits include Ito Nishimiya in A Silent Voice, Ito Morita in In This Corner of the World, and roles in works such as Belle, Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, and Dungeon Meshi. She also voiced the character of Gypsy in the Italian dub of the Freakazoid! episode House of Freakazoid.

Beyond anime, Polesinanti has dubbed numerous live-action actresses. She is the Italian voice for Kelly Bishop as Emily Gilmore in Gilmore Girls, Lynn Cohen in Sex and the City, and Betty White in various projects. Her live-action dubbing work also includes Frances Conroy in American Horror Story, June Squibb in Nebraska, and Kirin Kiki in several Japanese films.

In addition to dubbing, Polesinanti has had a long career as a live-action actress on stage, in film, and on television. She appeared in several films in the Fantozzi series and had roles in television series such as I Cesaroni and Provaci ancora prof.

Her work has been recognized with significant awards. In 1999, she won a Nastro d'Argento for Best Female Dubbing for her voice work for Fernanda Montenegro in the film Central do Brasil. In 2019, she received a Romics Lifetime Achievement Award for her contributions to the industry. Her career, spanning over six decades, continues with recent and upcoming roles in projects like the new Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt series.
