Sarara Yashima

Description
Sarara Yashima is a Japanese voice actor and singer from Osaka Prefecture, born on June 4, 1991. She is affiliated with the agency LAL.

Her path to a voice acting career began while she was a student in the Department of German Literature at Sophia University. During this time, she worked at a café associated with the idol group Afilia Saga and was recruited to join the group. She became a member of Afilia Saga in December 2012 under the stage name Reimi Heavenly, starting her career in the entertainment industry as an idol. Her interest in voice acting was sparked when she visited the recording studio for an anime whose theme song was performed by Afilia Saga. The experience of observing actors perform solely with their voices left a strong impression on her, leading her to pursue voice acting more seriously. In 2015, she graduated from the idol group to focus on her acting career, changing her stage name to her real name, Sarara Yashima.

Yashima's voice acting debut occurred in 2013, with her first credited role being Mobami-chan in the anime "Mobami Moba-chan" or related project "Bishōjo Mobage". Since then, she has built a career with a variety of roles in anime, games, and other media.

Her major anime roles include Shiwori Adachi in "Doreiku The Animation" (2018), Chinnō in "Chōyū Sekai: Being the Reality," Maria Hase in the "Cinderella Nine" franchise (2019), and Kaori Ikari in "Alice in Deadly School". She also voiced Makoto Higuchi in the 2021 series "Gekidol". Other notable television anime appearances include roles in "Persona 5 the Animation" as a weather news anchor, "Shadowverse" as Shindō San and Shindō Gō, and "Idol Incidents" as Natsuki Hoshizuna.

In addition to anime, Yashima has an extensive portfolio in video games. She voices the character Marian Hase in the game "August Cinderella Nine," a role she also played in the anime adaptation. Other game credits include Roromyu in "Caravan Stories," Yuika or a similar role in "Trickster: Want to be a Summoner," and various characters in "Seven Knights," "Destiny Child," and "Grimms Notes".

Beyond voice acting, Yashima has also appeared in stage productions and has been a regular personality on several radio programs, including "Kanako to Sarara" on the cultural broadcasting station "Chō! A&G+". Her hobbies include watching stage performances, playing mahjong, and her interest in the Gundam franchise.
