Hiromu Jin

Hiromu Jin was a Japanese voice actor and actor, born on July 24, 1942, in Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan. His birth name was Hiroshi Kawanaka. He was affiliated with the talent agency Sunayama Production during his career. Jin passed away sometime in the 1990s.

He is perhaps best known for his work in anime series based on the works of manga artist Go Nagai, particularly in the super robot genre. One of his most prominent roles was as the Grand Marshall of Hell in the 1974 anime series Great Mazinger, where he voiced the reborn antagonist. He also played multiple roles in the contemporary series Getter Robo, including the villain Emperor Gore, as well as Captain Gulva, Captain Ronan, and Ryusaku Nagare. His work in the original Mazinger Z series included guest voice roles such as Dr. Stroheim and Dr. Smith.

Beyond anime, Jin also appeared as a guest actor in several live-action television dramas, including period dramas like荒野の用心棒 and police dramas such as誇りの報酬. He also had a guest role in an episode of the original Kamen Rider live-action series. His filmography reflects a career spanning both animated and live-action productions from the early 1970s through the mid-1980s.
