Matilde Fernández Vilariño is a Spanish voice actor recognized for her extensive work in dubbing, particularly for providing the Spanish voices of numerous child and animal characters in animated series and films. Born in 1924, she began her career in interpretation through theater before joining the cast of actors at Radio Madrid, part the Cadena SER network, in the 1940s. Her voice, often described as childlike, became widely known in Spain over four decades, partly due to her long-running role as the boy Periquín in the popular radio serial Matilde, Perico y Periquín, which she performed for sixteen years. She also participated in another famous radio series, La Saga de los Porretas.

In the realm of film and television, Vilariño gained recognition for dubbing the child actor Pablito Calvo in the classic Spanish film Marcelino pan y vino and his subsequent films. Her voice became familiar to audiences of Japanese animated series broadcast in Spain during the 1970s. Among her most notable roles in anime was providing the Spanish voice for the title character in Maya the Bee. She also voiced Senda in the series The Forest of Tallac, known in Spanish as El bosque de Tallac. Another significant role was Rock in the 1963 Toei Animation film Doggie March, which was released in Spain as Rock, el valiente. Her voice work extended to other animated productions, including the Spanish dubs of Vickie the Viking, Ruy, the Little Cid, and Saint Seiya.

In recognition of her contributions to the medium, Matilde Vilariño received the Premio Ondas for Best Actress in 1960 and was awarded the Antena de Oro in the radio category in 1967.
