Telma Lúcia Cruz was a renowned Brazilian voice actress who built a prolific career over several decades, beginning in 1974. She was based in São Paulo and was associated with the Centauro studio, where she also worked as a dubbing director, leaving a significant legacy in the Brazilian dubbing industry.

She was the voice for numerous iconic animated characters. In anime, she voiced Carequinha in the series Little Lulu and Seus Pequenos Amigos, Gracinha in O Pinguim Arteiro (Chiisana Pengin: Lolo no Bōken), and the title role in The Adventures of the Little Prince. Her work extended to some of the most popular franchises in the world, as she was the Portuguese voice for Kuririn in Dragon Ball and Mikey in Pokémon.

Beyond her work in anime, her talent was heard in a wide variety of Western animated series and live-action productions. She voiced Margaux Kramer in the series Punky Brewster and Lillian Marie Jillian DeVille in Rugrats: Os Anjinhos. Her contributions were widely recognized by her peers and the industry, with the Sated-SP noting that she left an inestimable legacy in the history of Brazilian dubbing. Telma Lúcia Cruz passed away on March 14, 2025, at the age of 75.
