Keiko Tomochika

Keiko Tomochika was a Japanese voice actress born on July 22, 1944, in Ehime Prefecture, Japan. She was active in the anime industry from 1970 until at least the mid-1990s and was affiliated with the talent agency Arts Vision.

Tomochika's career was primarily defined by numerous supporting roles in television anime series throughout the 1970s and 1980s. In the 1977 series Fuusen Shoujo Temple-chan, she provided the voice for Marie Farmer, the mother of the protagonist Temple. Her role in the 1972 anime Kashi no Ki Mokku was that of Gina, a character in this adaptation of the Pinocchio story. She also voiced the character Kakasan Senobi in the 1984 series Okawari-Boy Starzan S.

Beyond these specific credits, her portfolio was extensive and featured a wide range of characters. She often played mothers or older women, as seen in series such as Dash! Kappei (as Akane's mother), Mirai Robo Daltanious (as Keita's mother), and the OVA Dream Hunter Rem (as an old woman). Other notable appearances include roles in Kagaku ninja tai Gatchaman (Science Ninja Team Gatchaman) and Time Bokan.

In the 1990s, Tomochika was involved in several "Brave Series" mecha anime productions. She worked on Taiyou no Yuusha Fighbird (The Brave of the Sun Fighbird) as Amano Akiko and on Yuusha Tokkyuu Might Gaine (The Brave Express Might Gaine) in a managerial role. Her collaborators during this period included director Hikamasa Hidaka and fellow voice actors Yuri Amano and Naoki Makishima. Her later known roles include the 1995 series Juushi Densetsu Etranger (Legend of the Twelve Warriors Etranger).
