Carmen Cristina Olarte is a retired Venezuelan voice actress known for her extensive work in Latin American dubs of anime and animated series during the 1990s and early 2000s. She was born on April 4, 1969, in Venezuela and began her dubbing career at the age of twenty, working for various studios including Etcétera Group, Lipsync Audio Video, Lips, Loops, SigloXXI, and Estudios Lain. Olarte was also a singer, contributing her voice to theme songs and audio stories for many children's series dubbed during that era, as well as for commercials and telenovelas.
Olarte's filmography includes several notable anime roles in their Latin American Spanish versions. She provided the voice of Kathy Miyamoto in the sports anime Goal FH, known as Goleadores in Latin America. She voiced the character Meloso in the series Thumbelina: A Magical Story. Other significant roles include Alfren J. Kwak in Ahiru no Quack and Mónica Wakamatsu in Miyuki. She is also widely recognized for her portrayal of the young protagonist Esteban in the classic adventure series The Mysterious Cities of Gold.
