Sylvie Jacob is a French actress, primarily known for her extensive work in voice dubbing for films and animated series. Born on August 25, 1978, she began her on-screen acting career at a very young age, starting at six years old with a role in the 1984 television film La Digue. Throughout her childhood and teenage years, she appeared in numerous television roles, including the mini-series Tourbillons and the series L'Instit.

Jacob transitioned to focus on voice acting, becoming one of the most recognized voices in French dubbing. In the realm of animation, she is particularly known for providing the French voice of Maria Kutschera in the 1991 Japanese anime series Trapp Ikka Monogatari, known in French as Les Enfants du Capitaine Trapp. Her other prominent anime and animation roles include being the second French voice of the title character Bunny Rivière (Sailor Moon) in the Sailor Moon series, Angelica Cornichon (Angelica Pickles) in the Rugrats films and series, and Megan Griffin in Family Guy. She also lent her voice to characters in various other animated works, such as Nokama in the Bionicle films, Wonder Woman in The Lego Movie, and characters in series like City Hunter and Dragon Ball Z.

Alongside her animation work, Jacob has a prolific career dubbing live-action actresses. She is the official French voice of Natalie Portman, dubbing her in the majority of her films since Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, including the Star Wars prequel trilogy, the Thor films, V for Vendetta, and Black Swan.
