Raychell is a Japanese musician, singer, and voice actress affiliated with the agency Ace Crew Entertainment. Born on January 13, 1985, she began her career in the music industry, initially debuting as a solo artist in 2010 under the stage name Lay with the Avex label Rhythm Zone. She later adopted the stage name Raychell in 2013. Her early work included singing theme songs for various media, such as the anime series Tamagotchi! and the video game Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster.

Raychell made her voice acting debut in 2019 with her casting in the BanG Dream! multimedia franchise. She voices the character Rei Wakana, known by her stage name LAYER, who is the vocalist and bassist for the band RAISE A SUILEN. This role is a significant part of her career, as she also performs as the vocalist and bassist for the real-life band of the same name, blending her musical and acting talents. She has reprised this role across numerous BanG Dream! anime projects, including the second and third seasons of the main series, BanG Dream! FILM LIVE 2nd Stage, and the short-form series BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! Pico Fever! and BanG Dream! Girls Band Party!☆PICO ~OHMORI~.

Expanding her voice acting portfolio within Bushiroad's multimedia projects, Raychell was cast as Shano Himegami in the D4DJ franchise. She voices the character in the anime adaptation D4DJ First Mix and its associated short series. In 2021, she took on a role in a different genre, voicing Elena Hanakaze in the original anime series Joran: The Princess of Snow and Blood.
