His career in voice acting began in the mid-1980s, and he became a highly prolific figure in the German dubbing industry, lending his voice to thousands of roles across films, television series, and video games. In addition to his voice work, Alich also appeared on screen in a small number of German film and television productions during the 1980s, including the film Richy Guitar and the series Didi – Der Untermieter.

Alich's voice acting portfolio was extensive, encompassing a wide range of characters in various genres, including animation. He provided the German voice for the character Raymond in the anime series Kaiketsu Zorro.
