Walter Alich was a German actor and voice actor, born on April 20, 1955. He passed away on September 11, 2024, at the age of 69. His career in voice acting began in the mid-1980s, and he became a highly prolific figure in the German dubbing industry, lending his voice to thousands of roles across films, television series, and video games. In addition to his voice work, Alich also appeared on screen in a small number of German film and television productions during the 1980s, including the film Richy Guitar and the series Didi – Der Untermieter.

Alich's voice acting portfolio was extensive, encompassing a wide range of characters in various genres, including animation. He provided the German voice for the character Raymond in the anime series Kaiketsu Zorro. His work also included the role of Ominito in the anime series Flint: The Time Detective, known in German as Flint Hammerhead. Beyond these specific credits, he was active in dubbing other animated series, with numerous guest and supporting roles in shows like the 1987 Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles series, where he voiced characters such as Capt. Kolik and Dr. Polidorius.

While Alich had many credits in anime and animation dubbing, his most iconic and long-standing role was providing the German voice for the Disney character Goofy. He voiced this character from 1987 until his retirement in 2023, appearing in a vast number of productions, including the series Goofy & Max, the film A Goofy Movie, and the Kingdom Hearts video game series. His other notable voice roles included dubbing actors such as David Bradley in films like Cyborg Cop, Steven Culp as Clayton Webb in the series JAG, and Christian Stolte as Keith Stolte in Prison Break.
